About

Have you ever been excited to enter a new phase of life only to find yourself stuck in a rut of old habits and routines? Have you ever desperately wanted direction from God but weren’t sure how to get it? You are wanting to make a bigger impact but not sure how to take the next step?

I can relate. I have been on over a 7-year journey toward a more authentic version of myself. A journey toward finding purpose after selling a business, seeing two children graduate (both high school & college), the loss of a parent, health issues, and 3 house moves. Purpose that has included helping start a nonprofit, supporting ministry folks in various capacities, writing weekly devotionals, and this website.

If you are anything like me, tackling the prospect of “life over 50” is a big adjustment. You may have even lost your sense of identity for a time. You may find yourself with more margin and wanting to maximize your impact but not sure what that looks like. You may have some ideas but find it difficult getting out of your comfort zone in order to take the next step.

This is why I started SACRED Abiding. SACRED Abiding is an acronym for a way of jump starting our relationship with Christ, where every road toward growth begins and ends with Christ. My goal is not only to encourage your growth in your relationship with Christ, but also to help you maximize your impact. I will be providing devotionals to spark your own abiding journey, motivational interviews, bible studies, and other resources that help encourage you toward action. Sound good?

Us gals need to stick together!

You are among a select group invited to join a community of like-minded women who want to grow in Christ, share their wisdom, and support each other on their unique journeys of impact.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. “  Hebrews 10: 24-25
